Overview

The role requires regular in-office presence for day-to-day operations, team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Provides organizational and practice-specific support to attorneys in a highly specialized Immigration Department, assisting with a wide range of business immigration matters.
Key responsibilities include preparing petitions and applications for various immigration matters, such as PERM, I-140, CP, AOS, Naturalization, H-1B, L, E-1/2, TN, O-1, J, and EB-5, as well as preparing responses to complex Requests for Evidence.
Manages individual caseloads, researches immigration law updates, maintains the case management database, directs client contact via phone, email, and postal correspondence, and creates reports.
Liaises with government agencies including DOL, USCIS, and NVC to troubleshoot issues, contacts USCIS and U.S. consulates/embassies to schedule visa appointment interviews, and assists with client intakes, mailings, and submissions to various immigration offices.
Requires prior business immigration experience within a law firm, with demonstrated knowledge of complex issues in the Immigration practice area.
Familiarity with immigration case management systems, specifically INSZoom, is necessary.
