The role focuses on financial services litigation, representing broker-dealers and registered representatives in FINRA arbitrations concerning securities sales practices and other proceedings.
Responsibilities include analyzing issues, conducting research, and drafting briefs for sophisticated legal matters; preparing for and participating in motion arguments; and trial preparation, including outlines and exhibits for direct and cross-examinations.
Requires case management experience, encompassing written discovery responses, document review and production, and collaboration with experts.
Candidates will work directly with clients and require strong strategic and analytical abilities.
Experience preparing outlines and exhibits for depositions is required; taking or defending depositions is a plus.
Law Review/Journal and/or Moot Court experience is preferred.
Admission to the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California is preferred.
