Overview

  • Staff Attorney role supporting a nationwide consumer finance litigation defense team.
  • Requires 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Defending clients in the credit card, mortgage, auto finance, and other lending sectors against consumer financial services litigation.
  • Experience handling cases in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums.
  • Defending claims under FDCPA, FCRA, TILA, RESPA, TCPA, state consumer protection acts, and common law.
  • Experience negotiating with opposing counsel and pro se litigants.
  • Strong writing and drafting skills, with close attention to detail, are essential.
  • Work as part of a large team of partners, senior counsel, associates, and other staff attorneys.
  • Must be licensed and reside in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, or be able to waive into one of these jurisdictions.
  • Hybrid work schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office.
  • Annual salary range of $125,000 - $180,000, plus discretionary bonuses. Actual compensation depends on qualifications and billable hours target.
