Seeking a Midlevel Corporate Associate with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
Focus on advising emerging companies and venture capital investors across corporate and transactional matters, from formation to exit.
Draft and negotiate venture capital financing documents, including term sheets, convertible notes, and NVCA-related documents.
Provide legal guidance on corporate governance issues, including board and shareholder matters.
Support clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, including conducting due diligence and assisting with closings.
Act as outside corporate counsel to early-stage and late-stage private companies.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA Accredited Law School, a strong academic background, and excellent research and writing skills.
Must be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice law in Connecticut.
This position is based in Stamford, CT, and requires residency in the Stamford area at or prior to hire.
Expectation to work in the Stamford office at least three business days per week.
The annual pay range for this position in Stamford is $260,000 – $365,000.
