The firm seeks a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate for its Stamford office.
Candidates must have 3-4 years of post-JD experience.
You will represent public and private companies, as well as private equity funds and their portfolio companies.
The role involves advising on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and other commercial transactions.
Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and related transaction documents (e.g., stock and asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, ancillary documents) is required.
Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction materials.
You will also advise clients on general corporate governance matters and day-to-day corporate issues.
The ability to manage due diligence processes, coordinate with deal teams, and handle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines is essential.
Excellent academic credentials are required, with a preference for candidates from large national or international law firms.
Candidates must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (or be eligible for admission).
