You will represent clients in commercial real estate financing and investment matters.
Specific work includes representing lenders in originating mortgage loans and other structured debt.
Experience with workouts of distressed commercial real estate loans is required.
You will also handle general real estate transactions, including commercial property purchases and sales.
Requires 4-8 years of real estate finance legal experience.
Prior experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm is preferred.
Essential skills include strong drafting, negotiation, analytical ability, and communication (written and verbal).
Excellent academic credentials are a must.
You must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Residence in the Charlotte area is required by the time of hire.
Expectation to work in the office at least three business days per week.
