This is a Litigation Associate position within the firm's Real Estate Capital Markets practice.
The role requires at least 4 years of commercial litigation experience.
Primary responsibilities include representing clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial foreclosure litigation, and other real estate litigation matters.
Experience should encompass motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and courtroom appearances.
Specific experience in commercial landlord-tenant litigation, including preparing and serving predicate notices and court pleadings, is required.
Experience in commercial foreclosure litigation is preferred, with a willingness to learn for candidates without direct experience.
Strong research and writing skills are essential, including the ability to draft motions and adhere to proper legal citation.
Excellent academic credentials are mandatory, and prior experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm is preferred.
Candidates must be licensed or ready to become licensed in North Carolina.
You must reside in the Charlotte area at or prior to the time of hire.
This position requires working in the office at least three business days per week.
