Overview

  • This Mass Tort Paralegal position is available either virtually through The Link office or in the St. Louis office.
  • The role focuses on California product liability litigation, specifically asbestos, silica, and other toxic tort matters.
  • You will provide independent support to attorneys, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting pleadings and correspondence, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Responsibilities involve comprehensive database management for document production and case information, coordinating legal filings and service, and handling calendaring and docketing.
  • You will collect and summarize medical and other records, act as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and experts, and manage files independently.
  • Experience includes supervising and mentoring Paralegal Assistants.
  • A minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience is required. Education must include a Paralegal Certificate, a Bachelor's degree in a law-related field, or an Associate's degree combined with paralegal training.
  • Familiarity with legal AI and the ability to learn and implement new AI tools is preferred for this role.
  • This position has an annual billable hour requirement of 1500 hours.
  • Compensation is determined by skill, experience, and location, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
