This is an Immigration Paralegal position based in the Kansas City, MO office.
You will handle a full range of business-related immigration matters, providing full-cycle production for both immigrant and non-immigrant petitions.
The role involves direct client contact and independent preparation of immigration applications and forms for attorney review.
A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in business immigration law is required, gained either in-house or at a law firm.
An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Significant legal experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft programs and immigration software (preferably INSZoom) is essential.
You must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
The role requires anticipating attorney needs and includes opportunities to mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants.
An annual billable hour target of 1500 is required.
Familiarity with legal AI and an ability to learn and implement new AI tools are preferred.
