Jones Day is seeking a Staff Attorney for its Business Restructuring and Reorganization practice group.
The position requires 4–6 years of post-qualification experience.
This is a firmwide, non-partner track position.
Primary responsibilities include managing and preparing required court disclosures and firm retention documents for bankruptcy matters, representing debtors, official committees, and special counsel.
The role also involves supporting legal research and writing initiatives, including contributions to practice-focused publications on bankruptcy, restructuring, and distressed M&A.
Candidates must have experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions, with a focus on company-side engagements.
Essential skills include strong writing, organizational, and time management capabilities, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Applicants must be members in good standing of the Ohio Bar.
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000.
