Overview

Jones Day is seeking a mid-level associate for its Cybersecurity, Privacy, & Data Protection practice.
There is an immediate hiring need for this role.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of prior experience from a large law firm.
The primary focus of this role is advising clients on cybersecurity and privacy matters.
Key responsibilities include compliance counseling, and the development and implementation of privacy policies.
You will also handle cyber-incident response, data breach notification, and regulatory investigations.
Experience with related litigation is required.
Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills are essential.
The ability to work effectively in a team and assume appropriate levels of responsibility is expected.
Superior academic credentials are a key requirement.
The position requires working from one of the following offices: New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, or San Diego.
The expected salary range for CA and NYC offices is $260,000 - $455,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
