Overview

  • Tax Associate position available in Charlotte, New York, or Pittsburgh.
  • Requires 3-4 years of experience in transactional tax matters; private equity transaction experience is preferred.
  • An LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred.
  • Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating tax provisions in merger, stock purchase, and asset purchase agreements.
  • Additional responsibilities involve drafting and reviewing partnership, joint venture, and limited liability company agreements.
  • Advise on tax aspects of equity and debt financing transactions.
  • Candidates must be self-starters, able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
  • Work closely with experienced lawyers, receiving active mentoring and opportunities for increased client contact and responsibility.
  • Base compensation ranges from $225,000 to $295,000 annually, with final salary determined by experience and other factors.
  • Offers hybrid/remote work opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits include 24 weeks of parental leave (12 weeks paid), a Balanced Hours Program, and a Ramp-Up/Ramp-Down Program.
