Overview

  • Seeking a mid-level Associate for the Commercial Disputes practice in the Pittsburgh office.
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience with general commercial litigation, multi-district litigation, or class actions in state and federal courts.
  • Key responsibilities include independently conducting legal research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and managing discovery practice, including e-discovery.
  • Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to or eligible for the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and exceptional research and writing abilities are required.
  • Candidates should be self-starters capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Clerkship or law journal experience is preferred.
  • Active mentoring is provided, with opportunities for increasing responsibility and direct client contact.
  • The firm offers hybrid and remote work opportunities.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short- and long-term disability, and life insurance.
  • Parental Leave includes 24 weeks, with 12 weeks paid, plus potential additional paid time via short-term disability.
  • Paid time off is generally 3-4 weeks annually, in addition to 12 paid holidays.
  • Eligible for performance bonuses and Bar expense reimbursement.
