Overview

Associate position within Katten's Capital Markets Practice Group.
Requires 3-5 years of public securities and general corporate work experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
Experience representing public and private companies, investment banks, and/or investors is essential.
Core responsibilities include securities offerings, 1934 Exchange Act reporting and compliance, and corporate governance.
Must have experience drafting and negotiating legal documents such as registration statements, offering memoranda, registration rights agreements, and stock purchase/subscription agreements.
Experience with non-U.S. companies or strategic public company transactions (e.g., mergers, 'going private' deals) is a plus.
Candidates should possess strong academic credentials, analytical skills, and drafting and writing abilities.
The estimated annual salary range is $225,000 - $420,000, with final compensation based on class year, job history, and relevant experience.
