The role focuses on the firm's expanding post-confirmation practice within the Bankruptcy & Restructuring department.
The practice involves representing post-confirmation trustees, plan administrators, unsecured creditors, and creditors’ committees in complex Chapter 11 cases.
Experience is required in claims reconciliation, familiarity with plan and post-confirmation trust documents, and working with debtor and committee professionals to transition cases to post-confirmation administration.
Responsibilities include negotiating plans, trust agreements, and plan administrator agreements.
The role manages day-to-day trust activities, including oversight of trust professionals' workstreams, asset liquidation, and the claims reconciliation process.
This position oversees and participates in trust litigation.
Work involves maintaining internal databases for creditor communications and distributions, reviewing and signing off on case pleadings (including claims stipulations and objections), and facilitating the trust wind down process.
