Overview

Serve as a Client Contracts Attorney within the General Counsel’s Conflicts & Business Review Department, focusing on firm-wide client contract management.
Review diverse client-drafted agreements, including outside counsel guidelines, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), Business Associate Agreements, and Request for Proposal (RFP) terms, to ensure firm compliance.
Draft and revise exceptions to client engagement terms and contracts; communicate identified issues with firm partners and negotiate directly with clients as instructed.
Manage contract version control, finalize agreements through redline comparisons, and oversee the completion of client due diligence requests.
Prepare internal memoranda summarizing provisions of approved client guidelines and manage their posting on the firm's Intranet and the filing of executed contracts.
Requires a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and an active law license in your current jurisdiction.
A minimum of three years of contract review and negotiations experience is required; knowledge of privacy and data protection laws is preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word track changes) and document comparison tools. Experience with generative AI tools is preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively manage a heavy workload while adapting to changing priorities.
This is a remote-optional position, subject to firm location approval, with occasional travel to the Atlanta office required.
The annual salary range for New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Denver, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley is $145,000-$160,000. The final offer will depend on relevant experience, job location, and other job-related factors.
