Overview

  • Serve as an Innovation Attorney advising lawyers, matter teams, and clients specifically within the firm's litigation practice groups.
  • Align advanced legal technologies, including generative AI, data analytics, and productivity tools, to litigation workflows to enhance value, insights, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Apply legal technology solutions directly to specific litigation matters, configure platforms, and replicate successful innovations across teams.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients on AI collaboration projects, respond to inquiries regarding legal tech functionality, security, and ethical use, and bridge communication between legal teams and the Technology Department.
  • Identify opportunities for technology enhancements, collaborate across firm departments, and stay current on legal industry tech trends to inform management and practice group leadership.
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to a relevant state bar are required, along with a minimum of two years' experience as a practicing litigation lawyer or in a legal operations role.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with legal technology and AI, experience in strategic legal tech project implementation, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the litigation matter lifecycle, experience in business analysis, solution design, consulting, or client-facing roles, and familiarity with strategies for increasing legal tech adoption are strongly preferred.
