Overview

Lead the integration of advanced legal technologies, including Generative AI and data analytics, into transactional legal workflows for lawyers, matter teams, and clients.
Develop and implement strategies with transactional practice groups to optimize efficiency and service delivery, configuring legal platforms, templates, and custom workflows for specific matters.
Act as a central liaison between lawyers, clients, and the Technology Department, managing client-firm AI collaborations, shared workflows, and addressing tech functionality, security, and ethical inquiries.
Identify opportunities for technology enhancements, contribute to firm-wide tech investments, and drive initiatives to increase lawyer awareness and adoption of existing and emerging legal tools.
Monitor legal industry technology trends, provide strategic analysis to firm leadership, and cultivate relationships with third-party vendors and innovation thought leaders.
Report to the Director of Practice Technology & AI, collaborating with practice leaders, the Technology & Innovation Committee, and Technology Leadership.
Requires a Juris Doctor (JD) and state bar admission, along with a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing transactional lawyer or in a legal operations role with a transactional focus.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in general technology, legal technology, and artificial intelligence, with preferred experience in evaluating and implementing legal tech solutions at a large firm or corporate legal department.
Exhibit excellent analytical skills, design thinking ability, and the capacity to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, alongside a customer service and problem-solving mindset.
