This role is a Knowledge Management (KM) Associate position within the Capital Markets group, working closely with the Capital Markets KM Partner and attorneys.
You will help execute the KM strategy across four core functions: training and development, substantive communications, knowledge resources, and innovation.
A central aspect of the role involves translating Capital Markets legal expertise into AI-powered tools and workflows, including prompt architecture, agentic workflows, and structured knowledge systems.
Responsibilities include overseeing the Capital Markets training curriculum, creating new programs, and collaborating on firm-wide associate development initiatives.
You will identify legal and market developments (e.g., SEC guidance, Delaware law), prepare updates for attorneys, contribute to firm publications, and support business development with client-facing materials.
You will create and maintain common knowledge resources such as standard forms, client-ready materials, and manage the Capital Markets resource page.
Requires at least 5 years of professional legal practice experience in securities law, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance.
Strong working knowledge of the '33 Act, '34 Act, Delaware law, corporate governance norms, and familiarity with equity offerings, debt offerings, and public company disclosure is essential.
Demonstrated interest in AI and legal technology is required, including comfort with current AI platforms (e.g., large language model tools) and a willingness to develop fluency in prompt design and AI workflow architecture. Prior AI experience is not a prerequisite.
Essential skills include strong drafting, written, and oral communication abilities, alongside excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives.
You will collaborate extensively with the Capital Markets KM Partner, practice attorneys, professional development, business development, the firm-wide Office of Innovation, and a dedicated paralegal team for AI and innovation initiatives.
