Junior Attorney role on the Mergers & Acquisitions Clearance Team.
Locations available: Chicago or Washington, DC.
Requires one year of M&A antitrust/competition clearance experience.
Experience in regulatory/corporate M&A or with private equity fund clients is a plus.
Role focuses on regulatory antitrust matters, specifically Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act compliance, rather than antitrust litigation.
Primary responsibilities include assessing HSR reportability, preparing forms, and managing filing coordination with clients, corporate teams, and opposing counsel.
Coordinate with the European team on international merger control compliance.
Additional work may involve substantive antitrust analysis of competitor transactions, Second Request responses, and general antitrust counseling.
Mandatory skills: excellent drafting and communication, exceptional attention to detail, and effective deadline management.
Training and support will be provided by current team members and antitrust partners.
Hiring salary range: $225,000 - $235,000, complemented by a robust benefits package.
