About the Team

Mergers & Acquisitions Clearance Team
Located in Chicago, New York or Washington, DC.
Handles compliance with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act (HSR Act).
Coordinates with European-based team on international merger control compliance.
Supports antitrust, corporate and private equity practices.

About the Role

Assess HSR reportability.
Prepare HSR forms.
Manage HSR filing preparation, including coordination with client, corporate team and opposing counsel.
Work on substantive antitrust analysis of competitor transactions.
Handle Second Request responses and general antitrust counseling matters.

Key Requirements

2-4 years of Antitrust/Competition related M&A clearance experience.
Background in regulatory/corporate M&A or experience working for private equity fund clients is a plus.
Excellent drafting and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
