Overview

  • Serve as a Knowledge Management (KM) Associate for the Capital Markets group, developing and executing KM strategy across training, communications, knowledge resources, and innovation.
  • Lead the integration of AI into Capital Markets KM, translating legal expertise into AI-powered tools, designing AI workflows, converting existing resources to AI-ready formats, and spearheading AI adoption within the group.
  • Oversee the Capital Markets training curriculum, which includes auditing current offerings, creating new programs based on attorney needs and legal developments, and collaborating on firm-wide training initiatives.
  • Identify and disseminate timely updates on legal and market developments (e.g., SEC guidance, Delaware law changes) to attorneys through emails, meetings, and publications like the firm's monthly Bring Down and client alerts.
  • Develop materials for business development activities, including client pitches, RFPs, and CLEs, and track market trends, deal activity, and competitive landscapes.
  • Create and maintain essential knowledge resources such as standard forms, client-ready materials, and the Capital Markets practice group's online resource page.
  • Required: Minimum of 5 years of professional legal practice experience in securities law, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance.
  • Required: Excellent working knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Delaware law, and corporate governance norms.
  • Required: Familiarity with various offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, high-yield and investment grade debt, and public company disclosure and corporate governance practices.
  • Key skills include strong drafting, written and oral communication, project management, and organizational abilities; the role requires a proactive, autonomous, and diligent approach.
  • A genuine interest in AI and legal technology is essential, along with comfort using current AI platforms (e.g., large language models) and a willingness to develop hands-on expertise in prompt design and AI workflow architecture. Prior AI experience is not required.
