Overview

  • Serve as a Knowledge Management (KM) Associate for the Capital Markets practice, working closely with the KM Partner and practice attorneys.
  • A primary responsibility involves translating Capital Markets expertise into AI-powered tools and workflows for attorneys and clients.
  • Oversee the Capital Markets training curriculum, including auditing existing offerings, creating new programs, communicating opportunities, and collaborating on firm-wide training initiatives.
  • Identify legal and market developments (e.g., SEC guidance, Delaware law, corporate governance practices), prepare effective updates for attorneys, and originate firm-wide publications and client alerts.
  • Develop resources for business development activities such as pitches, RFPs, and CLEs, and track market trends, deal activity, and the competitive landscape for partner insights.
  • Create and maintain common knowledge resources such as standard forms, client-ready materials, and manage the Capital Markets resource page.
  • Partner on the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered legal tools and workflows, including prompt architecture, agentic workflows, and structured knowledge systems.
  • Translate existing Capital Markets knowledge resources into AI-ready formats, develop new resources for AI-assisted delivery, lead AI platform adoption within the group, and contribute to attorney training programs on AI fluency.
  • Requires at least 5 years of professional legal practice experience in securities law, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance.
  • Possess excellent working knowledge of the 1933 Act, the 1934 Act, Delaware law, and corporate governance norms.
  • Familiarity with equity offerings (IPOs, follow-ons), debt offerings (high-yield, investment grade), and public company disclosure; willingness to expand knowledge to other deal types.
  • Demonstrate strong drafting, written and oral communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • A genuine interest in AI and legal technology is essential, with comfort using current large language model tools and a willingness to develop hands-on fluency in prompt design and AI workflow architecture. Prior AI experience is not required.
