Overview

  • Associate position with Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York, NY.
  • Work within the Debt Finance practice group.
  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate debt finance transactions, including complex securitization and structured private credit.
  • Represent purchasers, issuers, and structuring agents in whole-business and digital asset securitizations, and structured private credit deals.
  • Draft, review, and revise ancillary documents for securitization, project finance, and leveraged finance transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence, manage deal closing checklists, and oversee document execution.
  • Prepare Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and intellectual property (IP) filings, CUSIP/PPN applications, and manage Depository Trust Company (DTC) processes for structured finance transactions.
  • Requires a Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree, or foreign equivalent.
  • Active admission to the New York state bar is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Associate, Law Clerk, or similar role.
  • Experience must be with the Corporate, Debt Finance, or Structured Finance practice group of an international law firm.
  • The hiring salary for this position is $390,000.
