Salt Lake City - Debt Finance Associates

The Debt Finance Practice Group focuses primarily on representing private equity funds and other corporate borrowers. The team works with over 500 private equity clients and is comprised of over 300 debt finance lawyers.

As an Associate within the Debt Finance Practice Group, you will advise and execute complex debt capital markets transactions. This involves providing creative solutions, strategic market insight, operational support, and leveraging global relationships for clients. Positions are available in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City offices.

• Structure financing transactions, including secured and unsecured debt.
• Document financing transactions, including secured and unsecured debt.
• Negotiate financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
• Manage senior secured, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions.
• Handle acquisition financings.
• Execute loan workouts.

• 2-6 years of experience in debt finance.
• Background in structuring, documentation, and negotiation of secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
• Familiarity with various debt types, including senior secured, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions.
• Experience with acquisition financings.
• Experience with loan workouts.
• Preferred: Leveraged finance experience, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.
