Overview

Associate position within the Investment Funds practice group.
Available in Chicago, Washington D.C., or New York.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in private investment fund formation and related operational matters.
Targeting associates at the 4th through 6th-year level.
Represent fund sponsors globally, including established private equity and asset management firms, as well as emerging managers in buyout, venture, and credit funds.
Advise on all aspects of private investment fund structuring and fundraising across various asset classes.
Handle complex fund-related matters including global securities, tax, and regulatory compliance.
Counsel clients on internal sponsor arrangements, co-investments, and ongoing fund operations.
Advise on day-to-day compliance, corporate issues, and complex regulatory challenges for asset managers.
Engage in secondary transactions, representing both sponsors and strategic investors.
Base salaries range from $225,000 (Class of 2026) to $435,000 (Class of 2018), with discretionary bonuses also available.
