  • Associate position in Finance - Restructuring, based in the New York office.
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial restructuring.
  • The Restructuring practice is one of the world's largest, advising a full range of stakeholders in financially distressed businesses.
  • Stakeholders include debtors, issuers (public/private securities), creditors, equity holders, new investors, boards of directors, and senior management teams.
  • Represents diverse clients such as corporations, banks, creditors' committees, hedge funds, sponsors, and other financial institutions.
  • Work involves both in-court bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court solutions, including domestic and international workouts and restructurings.
  • Handles a wide array of transaction types: creditor compromise procedures, security enforcements, debt rescheduling, liability management, exchange/tender offers, refinancings, new money/distressed financings, debt-to-equity swaps, equity capital raises, and strategic/distressed M&A.
  • Focuses on complex, contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, often with multi-layered capital structures and cross-jurisdictional dynamics.
  • Provides counsel on corporate governance, risk management, fiduciary liability, and stakeholder negotiations in troubled situations.
  • Base salaries by class year (US Payroll) range from $225,000 (2026/2025) to $435,000 (2018). Discretionary bonuses may be available.
