Overview

  • The Litigation Services Attorney provides high-level legal analysis and research on complex procedural and strategic issues in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Responsibilities include advising litigation teams on court rules, civil procedure, filing protocols, and deadline calculations.
  • You will review court filings for procedural compliance and content, and prepare detailed procedural roadmaps for complex court submissions.
  • The role involves conducting judicial research to develop profiles, analytics, and review transcripts for specific judges.
  • You will oversee and perform firm-wide litigation calendaring functions, including maintaining and communicating deadlines.
  • Management of court services functions includes researching and retrieving court documents, electronic and paper filing, processing daily litigation mail, and coordinating process servers.
  • This position is based in the New York office and is eligible for a flexible working schedule that includes a hybrid in-office and remote presence.
  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar admission in a relevant state are required.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience as a practicing litigation attorney or in a Docket/Calendar/Litigation Services environment.
  • Key qualifications include advanced knowledge and application of court rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions, strong analytical skills, and the ability to clearly articulate complex legal and calendaring issues.
  • The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000, with additional performance-based bonuses.
  • Benefits include healthcare, life and disability insurance, a 401k plan, 11 paid holidays, and 23 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually, increasing with tenure.
