The practice handles municipal law matters for public entities from California to the East Coast, and its team includes lawyers serving as General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, or Special Counsel for municipal bodies.
The role's work includes drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.
Candidates are preferred to have experience defending public entities, including law enforcement agencies and their officers, in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, with at least two years of experience in written discovery (preparation, responses, meet-and-confer sessions, motions) and taking/defending depositions.
Trial experience is considered a bonus but is not a requirement.
