Overview

The role involves all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Lewis Brisbois’ Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice represents clients in state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, encompassing Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation.
The practice advises a diverse client base that includes generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, multi-national corporations, family-owned companies, individuals, partnerships, closely held corporations, Fortune 500 companies, foreign and domestic companies, governmental agencies, manufacturing, real estate development companies, and foreign and domestic insurance carriers.
The firm frequently serves as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation, such as asbestos cases, automotive litigation (rollover cases), and dietary supplements.
While experience in toxic tort and environmental law is preferred, the firm is interested in candidates with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in these areas.
