Overview

The role requires strong research and writing skills and involves all phases of toxic tort and asbestos litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Lewis Brisbois' toxic tort and asbestos practice, a pioneer in the field since the 1980s, defends claims involving exposure to asbestos, benzene, diacetyl, carbon monoxide, and other chemical products. The firm serves as national coordinating, regional, and local counsel for manufacturers, distributors, contractors, premises owners, and entities in industries such as shipbuilding, energy, education, and construction.
While some experience in toxic tort litigation is preferred, the firm is also interested in candidates with excellent skills and substantive litigation experience in any arena, combined with a demonstrated interest in toxic tort law.
