Responsibilities also encompass ordering and tracking third-party reports (including zoning, property condition, and environmental), preparing and managing closing checklists, and organizing and maintaining due diligence materials.
The role supports leasing matters by drafting leases and amendments, assisting with related leasing documents, and preparing organizational documents and UCC financing statements.
Post-closing support is also provided, involving follow-up on recorded documents and title policies, and review of post-closing deliverables for accuracy.
Candidates must have a strong emphasis on commercial real estate transactions, title, and surveys, with demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing title commitments and ALTA/NSPS surveys, and familiarity with title insurance products, endorsements, and closing processes.
An understanding of land use and environmental due diligence is considered a plus.
