Overview

Private Client Associate role based in Washington, DC.
Requires 2 to 4 years of experience in private client law.
Responsibilities include drafting sophisticated estate planning documents and supporting wealth-transfer strategies.
Assist with estate administration and the preparation, review, and filing of federal gift and estate tax returns.
Mandatory experience in domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning.
International income, gift, and estate tax planning experience is a strong plus.
Seeking candidates with excellent writing, speaking, research, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a strong academic background and ability to maintain client/co-advisor relationships.
An LLM in Taxation is preferred but not required.
Must be admitted to the DC Bar.
Annual associate compensation is based on class year, ranging from $225,000 (2026/2025 class) to $435,000 (2018 and more senior classes).
