Overview

Associate position with the Life Sciences Team in the firm's Raleigh office.
Join an AmLaw 100 firm with a large, established national healthcare and life sciences practice.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in life sciences law.
Core work involves regulatory advisory, contract review, and transactional matters including licenses, M&A, IPOs, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Debt Finance.
Extensive experience with FDA regulatory compliance for drugs, biologics, and medical devices, covering product development, clearances/approvals (e.g., INDs, NDAs, 510(k)s), labeling, inspections, recalls, and quality agreements.
Experience with OIG, CMS, and DOJ matters impacting the life sciences industry, such as public/private reimbursement, drug pricing, anti-kickback, False Claims Act, and compliance program design.
Specific experience with DSHEA, PDMA, DCSCA, and advertising/promotional review for regulated products (FDA, FTC).
Advise a diverse range of life sciences clients, including pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, manufacturers, providers, and investment firms.
Prior experience in a top 100 law firm setting is required.
Previous employment at FDA, CMS, DOJ, or in-house at a life sciences company is a plus.
Strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
North Carolina Bar admission is required.
