Overview

Financial Regulatory Associate position based in the Chicago office.
Join the Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department.
Advise clients on cutting-edge payments products, state and federal regulatory inquiries, and rulemakings.
Work includes counseling on money transmission, lobbying/legislative affairs, and licensing.
Provide guidance on product counseling, intellectual property, and compliance obligations across domestic and international markets.
Represent clients in consumer protection matters, including FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, SCRA, MLA, TILA, EFTA, GLBA, and TCPA.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, with an understanding of fintech clients and payment products.
Strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with client, business, and legal teams are essential.
Illinois Bar admission is required.
Salary range is $260,000 - $365,000.
Opportunity for hours and merit bonus, with billable hours credit for pro bono work.
The firm operates on a hybrid work model.
