Overview

Financial Regulatory Associate position based in Richmond, VA.
Work involves advising financial services clients on cutting-edge payments products, state and federal regulatory inquiries, and rulemakings.
Specific focus on money transmission, lobbying, legislative affairs, licensing, product counseling, and compliance obligations in domestic and international markets.
Represent clients in consumer protection matters, including FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, SCRA, MLA, TILA, EFTA, GLBA, and TCPA.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, including an understanding of fintech clients and payment products.
Must possess a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
Willingness to leverage innovative technology platforms, such as Harvey AI, for research, document drafting, and analytical tasks.
Virginia Bar admission is required.
Compensation includes a competitive salary, hours and merit bonus opportunities, and billable hour credit for pro bono work.
This is a hybrid work arrangement.
