Overview

Associate position in the Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department, based in Austin.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience from a top 100 law firm setting.
Represent financial institutions, accounting firms, and public companies.
Core practice involves civil litigation, including shareholder suits, SEC and PCAOB enforcement actions, and disputes arising from private equity deals.
Advise on financial reporting, accounting, disclosure, and tax matters.
Handle matters related to securities, lender liability, regulatory issues, loan workouts, foreclosures, class actions, and credit card disputes.
Work includes cases involving securities fraud, failed asset securitizations, defaulted syndicated loans, commercial disputes, business torts, and intellectual property for bank clients.
Must possess a strong academic record and excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Utilize innovative AI platforms (e.g., Harvey AI) for legal research, document drafting, and analytical tasks.
Texas Bar admission is required.
