Associate position within the Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department, based in Baltimore.
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top 100 law firm setting.
Focus on civil litigation, including shareholder suits, SEC and PCAOB enforcement actions, and disputes arising from private equity deals.
Experience representing accounting firms and public companies on financial reporting, accounting, disclosure, and tax matters.
Broader experience with securities, lender liability, regulatory issues, loan workouts, foreclosures, class actions, and credit card-related matters.
Additional work involves commercial disputes, business torts, and intellectual property matters for banks.
Must possess a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness to leverage innovative technology platforms (e.g., Harvey AI) for research, drafting, and analytical tasks.
Maryland Bar admission is required.
Salary range of $260,000 – $365,000, with opportunities for hours and merit bonuses.
Billable hour credit provided for pro bono work.
Clerkship experience is preferred.
Position offers a hybrid work arrangement.
