Associate position in the Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department based in the Tysons, Virginia office.
Practice focuses on representing clients in the financial services sector.
Work includes advising on securities, lender liability, regulatory issues, loan workouts, foreclosures, class actions, and credit card-related matters.
Handles cases involving securities fraud, failed asset securitizations, and defaulted syndicated loans.
Advises banks on commercial disputes, business torts, and intellectual property matters.
Represents accounting firms and public companies in financial reporting, accounting, disclosure, and tax matters.
Civil litigation experience is required, including shareholder suits, SEC/PCAOB enforcement actions, and disputes arising from private equity deals.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience from a top 100 law firm is required.
Virginia Bar admission is required.
Must possess a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
Experience with a judicial clerkship is a plus.
Willingness to leverage innovative technology platforms, such as Harvey AI, for legal research, drafting, and analysis.
