Overview

Mid-level Associate position based in the Pittsburgh office.
Join the Public Finance Practice Group, which is part of the Public and Private Infrastructure & Real Estate Department.
Advise clients on all aspects of tax-exempt and taxable financings, including refinancings.
Work with a diverse client base including non-profit, higher education, for-profit, energy infrastructure, healthcare, governmental, and industrial entities.
Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating financing and offering documents, certificates, and opinions.
Review and analyze underlying credit support, tax, construction, and management agreements, as well as complex federal tax issues.
Requires 2-4 years of experience in debt finance, public finance, or project finance, preferably gained in a large law firm environment.
Preference for candidates with experience in real estate, secured lending, and tax-exempt finance transactions.
Prior experience representing lenders and underwriters is also preferred.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, business teams, and legal colleagues.
