The practice group advises clients on all types of tax-exempt and taxable financings.
Client sectors include non-profit, higher education, healthcare, energy infrastructure, for-profit, governmental, industrial, waste-to-energy, and recycling.
Key responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and analyzing underlying credit support, tax, construction, and management agreements.
You will draft and negotiate financing and offering documents, certificates, and opinions.
Work also involves reviewing and analyzing complex federal tax issues related to financings.
Candidates must have 2-4 years of experience in debt finance, public finance, or project finance.
Required experience includes real estate, secured lending, and tax-exempt finance transactions.
Preference is given to candidates with prior experience representing lenders and underwriters.
Prior experience must be from a large law firm setting.
