Associate position within a transactional tax practice.
The practice focuses on the renewable energy industry.
Advise clients on tax credit qualification, including requirements under Internal Revenue Code Sections 45 and 48 (e.g., beginning-of-construction, prevailing wage, apprenticeship).
Work on M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and various joint ventures.
Requires 1-8 years of relevant tax experience at a law firm.
Demonstrated experience in tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, tax equity financings, and drafting tax opinion letters is required.
Excellent academic credentials are required.
Admission to the Texas bar is required.
An LL.M. in taxation is preferred.
