Overview

This Paralegal position supports the Litigation and Energy and Project Development (EPD) teams.
The role is based in the Philadelphia office with a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule.
Key responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research for case strategies, including statutes, administrative codes, and regulatory agency decisions.
You will draft and edit a range of legal documents, such as correspondence, memoranda, affidavits, motions, petitions, testimony, briefs, and settlements.
Prepare and file regulatory submissions with state and federal agencies (e.g., PA Public Utility Commission), monitor filings, deadlines, and docket entries.
Provide compliance support and case management for utility regulation and energy transactions, coordinating extensive documentation for major rate cases, applications, and petitions.
Manage litigation support databases and Discovery platforms, organizing key documents and coordinating client uploads.
Assist with hearing preparation, including exhibit creation, transcript review, and compiling witness binders for cross-examinations.
This role includes mentoring and training junior Legal Practice Support and Administrative staff.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of Litigation experience.
Experience in an energy or utility setting or practice is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Westlaw, and Lexis platforms is required.
Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
