    Why talk to Evan Fox?

    W. Soren Kreider IV joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP's New York City office in the Corporate group.

I highly recommend Evan. I worked with Evan for nearly 3 years as an associate, and then counsel, at my prior firm. Evan was a consummate professional, always available and a real asset to me in my career search. At every juncture, it always felt like Evan had my best interests at heart, even as I decided initially to stay in my current firm and pursue an opportunity there. When it came time to pursue a role outside my firm, he had all the right contacts and relationships/resources to get me in front of key decisionmakers at all the most prestigious firms and was able to find and negotiate multiple job offers for me, even during a challenging lateral hiring window. I would highly recommend Evan, he is a great person to work with, is well respected in his field and by his clients and the firms he places them at, and he always keeps the interests of the candidate at the front of his mind throughout the process. I hope I don’t need his services again, but if I do, I know I will be in good hands.

    Freshwater Counsel

    Why talk to Khurram Naik?

Kaylynn Moss joined Freshfields's District of Columbia office in the Antitrust group.

When I initially reached out to Khurram, I was struggling with whether I was willing to switch law firms and whether there was truly another firm out there that would be the fit I was looking for. Khurram took the time to listen to what I was looking for and the priorities in my career, he helped me reflect on both the pros and cons of making a move, which firms might be the right fit, and genuinely felt more like a career coach at times which is exactly what I needed! It took me several more months to finally decide to start the process to make the move, but in the interim Khurram continued to be a sounding board and never was pushing me to leave prematurely but rather was someone I could rely on for an honest opinion. I'm also not sure how I would have survived the interview process without him! He was very communicative and proactive and made sure the process kept moving on all ends. Switching law firms can be a stressful process and does not happen overnight. It also can be isolating because you hold the decision close while you progress through the process and decide on the right move. I learned the incredibly positive impact a truly great recruiter can have in counteracting all of this. Khurram's input and expertise throughout the past several months leaves me feeling certain that I've truly considered all my options and I'm moving to the firm best for me, my family, and the career I want to develop. I will continue to refer him to everyone in search of a recruiter in the legal field!

Shawn Skolky joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo P.C.'s District of Columbia office in the Antitrust group.

In looking for my next position, I worked with quite a few legal recruiters - until I came upon Susan. She is by far the most organized, helpful, and knowledgeable individual I had the pleasure of working with. She has a deep knowledge of the market, the best (and worst) places to work, and is able to articulate why a company will/won't be a good fit. Susan isn't like most recruiters who hope to apply you to every position under the sun. She will truly look to find the place where she thinks you have a future. I can't thank her enough!
