Overview

  • Paralegal position within the Labor & Employment Practice Group.
  • Based in Boston, Philadelphia, or Seattle offices, with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
  • Core responsibilities include legal research, document preparation, case and project management, and client communication.
  • Tasks involve managing document and database maintenance, including electronic data collections, searching, computer-assisted review, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Support discovery processes by preparing requests, managing productions (Bates labeling, redacting, organizing, logging), and handling subpoena preparation and service.
  • Assist with court filings (state and federal) via eFile, perform cite-checking, Bluebooking, and create tables of authority/contents for legal documents.
  • Manage case deadlines and prepare materials for witness preparation, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 1-4 years of litigation paralegal experience; a labor and employment law background is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF software is required. Familiarity with iManage and litigation support systems (e.g., WestLaw, Lexis/Nexis, Relativity) is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary, along with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapt to change, and work overtime as needed.
  • For Boston: The base salary range is $62,000 - $99,200 annually.
  • For Seattle: The base salary range is $64,700 - $103,475 annually.
  • Compensation includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, with final salary determined by experience, expertise, and market factors.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off (9 holidays, 2 personal days, up to 20 vacation days), sick leave, and parental leave (up to 12 weeks paid).
