Overview

  • eDiscovery Counsel role based in Seattle, San Francisco, New York, or Washington, D.C.
  • Lead complex discovery matters for litigation and investigations across the full electronically stored information (ESI) lifecycle.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to case teams and clients, guiding preservation, collection, review, analytics, production, and privilege management.
  • Develop and execute tailored discovery strategies, lead meet-and-confer negotiations, manage discovery budgets, and supervise review teams.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate discovery-related risks, including sanctions exposure and privilege waiver.
  • Design and implement early case assessment strategies leveraging advanced analytics, predictive coding, and AI-driven review tools.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership required (or eligible for prompt admission in practice state).
  • 8-12 years of litigation experience with significant responsibility for discovery strategy, management, and execution, including leading large-scale electronic document reviews.
  • Deep expertise in ESI management workflows (preservation, collection, processing, review, production), advanced proficiency with Relativity or comparable platforms, and strong command of eDiscovery law, proportionality standards, and defensibility best practices.
  • Experience in complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, or white-collar matters is preferred.
  • Annual salary range for New York and San Francisco: $184,000 - $257,000.
  • Annual salary range for Seattle and Washington, D.C.: $175,000 - $244,000.
