Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Real Estate Paralegal (Title & Survey) for the Transactions/Real Estate team in New York.
  • Provide substantive support across all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence, financings, acquisitions, syndications, and dispositions.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence, with a focus on title and survey review, and analyze various third-party reports (e.g., zoning, UCC, bankruptcy, entity).
  • Prepare and review real estate and loan closing documents (e.g., deeds, easements), manage closing checklists, coordinate transaction closings, and organize closing binders.
  • Perform entity searches and manage the preparation, filing, and maintenance of corporate formation and governance documents.
  • Possess a minimum of four years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm; a Bachelor's degree is also preferred.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, organizational, and independent judgment skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and oversee junior paralegals as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, ensure accurate time entry, and be flexible for overtime and occasional travel.
  • The New York salary range for this role is $105,000 - $145,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including health, parental leave, wellness programs, and an annual profit-sharing contribution.
