Overview

  • Join Morrison Foerster's Technology Transactions group, advising global tech leaders and emerging companies on complex, strategic technology and intellectual property transactions.
  • Work involves cutting-edge industries such as augmented reality/virtual reality, artificial intelligence/robotics, blockchain, fintech, semiconductors, software, and cloud/as-a-service technologies.
  • Seeking an associate with 3-6 years of experience.
  • Requires strong knowledge of intellectual property law.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating various technology transactions, including software/technology/content licenses, development agreements, professional services, manufacturing, collaboration, supply/distribution, and e-commerce/media transactions.
  • Assist with M&A and equity financing deals, including drafting transaction agreements and conducting due diligence on contract and IP matters.
  • Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and leadership abilities.
  • Membership in the California Bar is preferred, or a bar in another state.
