Associate position within the Cooperatives and Condominiums Team, available in the New York City, Long Island, or Albany office.
Requires at least 4 years of experience as a real estate litigation attorney.
The role focuses on complex real estate litigations and disputes, government investigations, and regulatory compliance matters within New York State.
Represent a diverse client base including developers, landlords, cooperative and condominium sponsors, and nonprofit organizations.
Experience should encompass landlord/owner-side litigation in real estate matters, construction litigation, Rent Stabilization Law compliance, the Martin Act, and the New York Executive Law.
A strong preference exists for candidates with experience representing clients in government investigations and enforcement proceedings, including those initiated by the NYS Attorney General's Office and other state/city regulatory agencies.
Candidates must have strong academic credentials, superb judgment, and excellent communication skills.
The anticipated annual base salary range, depending on location, is: Albany ($180,000 - $220,000), Long Island ($220,000 - $265,000), and New York City ($275,000 - $350,000).
This position includes a standard benefits package and may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on factors such as work performance and geographic location.
