This is an Associate position within the Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group.
You can join either the Boston, MA or Washington, DC office.
The role requires 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience.
Massachusetts State Bar admission or Washington, DC Bar admission is mandatory.
Key responsibilities include counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating various government inquiries, from initial investigation through trial and appeals.
Work involves representing individuals and organizations that receive civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or information requests from federal and state prosecutors or investigative agencies.
Desired experience includes government investigations in life sciences matters, specifically involving the False Claims Act, Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
Candidates should possess strong writing, analytical, communication, and judgment skills, along with demonstrated written advocacy in government investigations and complex civil fraud litigation defense.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position in Boston, MA and Washington, DC is $225,000 to $275,000.
Additional contingent compensation may be available, based on factors such as work performance, geographic location, and qualifications.
