Overview

  • This is an Associate position within the Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group.
  • You can join either the Boston, MA or Washington, DC office.
  • The role requires 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Massachusetts State Bar admission or Washington, DC Bar admission is mandatory.
  • Key responsibilities include counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating various government inquiries, from initial investigation through trial and appeals.
  • Work involves representing individuals and organizations that receive civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or information requests from federal and state prosecutors or investigative agencies.
  • Desired experience includes government investigations in life sciences matters, specifically involving the False Claims Act, Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Candidates should possess strong writing, analytical, communication, and judgment skills, along with demonstrated written advocacy in government investigations and complex civil fraud litigation defense.
  • The anticipated annual salary range for this position in Boston, MA and Washington, DC is $225,000 to $275,000.
  • Additional contingent compensation may be available, based on factors such as work performance, geographic location, and qualifications.
